For this project I have chosen to do Portrait photography and do it within the theme of Generation or Age. I want to work towards gaining more experience & knowledge in Portrait photography and also experiment more with different types of Portrait, either that being taking it into the Studio or taking pictures on Location. My target audience is families as with Generation or Age, I find that it’ll be more personal to the people how have their pictures taken. During this project I want to experiment with taking Digital pictures and also Black & White Film pictures as I’d like to compare them and see which comes out with the most effective result, I’m also planning to do some of my digital pictures in Black & White.

I have a feeling that the most realistic choice for me to do will be doing Generation, as I’ll be able to use family and close friends, I feel like the final pieces would be more effective and maybe mean a lot more than if I was to do Age because with Generation at least then, I’ll have a connection to show between the people.

Although I’ve already done a photoshoot, I’m going to do a lot more research on Generation photography to see how they’ve been presented and how effective they look in different layouts, I already have a vague idea on what I want my final piece to look like but I’ll have a look more on what else can be done.
